Mardiono, the Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP), has pledged his support for the upcoming administration of President and Vice President-elect Prabowo-Gibran for the term of 2024-2029. This commitment was conveyed directly to Prabowo during a political courtesy visit at his residence on Jl. Kertanegara No. 4, South Jakarta, on Thursday evening (15/8).
Mardiono emphasized that PPP’s main reason for supporting Prabowo is to help him implement the work programs that the Indonesian people are eagerly anticipating, especially in terms of accelerating the welfare of the Indonesian population. He reiterated PPP’s commitment to backing the new government under Prabowo’s leadership.
Furthermore, Mardiono expressed the party’s dedication to assisting in the organization of local elections at the provincial and municipal levels. He mentioned a collaboration with the Gerindra Party in these elections, starting from the nomination processes.
The PPP delegation, led by Mardiono, also expressed their gratitude for the warm reception during their short political courtesy visit. Mardiono thanked Prabowo for welcoming them to his residence and for the fruitful meeting.
