Prabowo Subianto, Indonesia’s Minister of Defense and President-Elect for 2024-2029, is optimistic about the progress of the Nusantara Capital project. After attending a Cabinet Meeting led by President Joko Widodo in East Kalimantan, Prabowo commented on the promising condition and atmosphere of the development.
He mentioned that the atmosphere during the meeting was positive, and he believes that the project is progressing well. Despite the fact that completing the Nusantara Capital will take many years, Prabowo is confident that, with the collaboration of experts, it could be fully operational within 4-5 years.
Prabowo expressed his commitment to finishing the project in line with President Jokowi’s vision and mission. He emphasized the importance of mobilizing all experts and resources to ensure the success of the Nusantara Capital. As the President-Elect for 2024-2029, Prabowo is determined to continue and possibly complete the project, building upon the historic role played by President Jokowi as the initiator.
