The President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, has proudly announced that the government’s Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program has gained international recognition and is now a topic of discussion in global diplomatic circles. Speaking at the closure of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Congress in Solo, Central Java, Prabowo highlighted the success of the program, targeting schoolchildren, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers, and its growing popularity among other nations. The MBG program, which has already benefited over six million individuals, mainly children and pregnant women, is unprecedented in its scope and impact. Prabowo expressed his optimism that the number of beneficiaries will continue to rise significantly in the coming months, with a target of reaching 20 million beneficiaries by August 2025. The initiative not only addresses malnutrition but also supports local food producers and vendors, promotes social equity, and contributes to the early development of future generations, playing a crucial role in the nation’s long-term progress.
